This recipe took many tests to get just right, so I am so thrilled to finally be posting the perfected version! These Brussels sprouts are super crispy on the outside and tender on the inside!
Ingredients
- 1 lb Brussels sprouts
- 2 tbsp avocado oil
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
- 1 tsp ground ginger
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp sea salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Peel the outside leaves off then slice each Brussels sprout into halves or quarters depending on if they’re larger or smaller sprouts. Place the sprouts in a medium mixing bowl.
- Mix all remaining ingredients into a small bowl and whisk together with a mini whisk or a fork.
- Pour the liquid mixture over the Brussels sprouts and stir until the Brussels sprouts are evenly coated.
- Pour everything into your air fryer and set it at 400 degrees for 20 minutes.
- After 5 minutes, pause the air fryer and shake the basket or stir the brussels sprouts around. Repeat every 5 minutes.
- After the 20 minutes are up, remove the Brussels sprouts from the air fryer and serve immediately!
Total time: 40 minutes, Serves 2 to 4
You can store these in the refrigerator if you have leftovers. When you reheat them they won’t be crispy anymore, but they will still taste great!
